Indigestion - Natural home remedy for Acidity, Gas

We will be surprised to know how many of the discomforts we have everyday are caused by indigestion. Some of the Indigestion symptons are below.

What Are the Symptoms of Indigestion?

The symptoms of indigestion include:

  • Burning in the stomach or upper abdomen
  • Abdominal pain
  • Bloating (full feeling)
  • Belching and gas
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Acidic taste
  • Growling stomach

These symptoms may increase in times of stress.

One of the simple steps that you can do relieve yourself of these steps is to avoid drinking water immediately after the meals. Wait for an hour before consuming any liquid after the meals. Similarly reduce the quantity of water you consume before meals too. It is said among the yogis that the water in the stomach will wash away the enzymes needed for the digestion of food and hence drinking water right after meals causes indigestion.

Reducing intake of water before and after meals is a simple step that can help you avoid many of the indigestion problems. This still won't solve indigestion arising out of greasy food or any other complications. Nonetheless a simple one to try!

I tried this simple remedy for the past 2 weeks, and I can feel the difference. There is less of belching and gas too.
